Superman Returns was exactly what I was hoping for, and maybe a little extra. I think Brandon Routh did a good job playing superman, but I believe Kate Bosworth did an ever better job. It just seemed like Brandon wasn't really into the superman thing. The story line was very interesting because in one side you have the classic superman films that aren't as advanced in graphics as we are now, thus preventing cool scenes that capture much of the life and story of Superman. For example, the bullet scene on the roof was some sight. Seeing a bullet crushed while it tries to enter his eye, oh boy that was a cool part!
I could talk about the other movies, but I feel those movies deserve that much credit. They are no Titanic. Cars is my number one must see summer movie recommendation, all the others are just wannabies'. Thanks Pixar!
Here is the run down on rankings for the movies I watched this summer (sort of summer):

Transformers
Based on the popular toys that transform from machines into giant robots, this live-action movie from Pearl Harbor director Michael Bay finds the planet Cybertron inhabitants engaging in a secret war for control of Earth's natural resources, which they desperately need for fuel. Able to disguise themselves as cars, airplanes, boats and more, the transformers prove a tough enemy in this film starring Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel and Jon Voight.
